Garden in Bloom

With the release of every new catalog, my up line Mary Fish hosts a Catalog Reveal online meeting.  It is always great fun.  Lots of surveys, sharing of ideas and a bunch of "prize patrol" giveaways from Mary.  This time I was the lucky winner of my choice in $25 in new product.  I chose the Garden in Bloom Stamp Set.  It is a two step stamp set--such fun.  I just love the little bumble bee. A piece of English Garden DSP was cut to 4" x 51/4" and mounted on the Whisper White cardsstock.  I added the images from Garden in Bloom.  The sentiment is from the new Host set, Floral Wings.  I love the simple font.  Just love the little bumble bee.

Come back soon.

Pals Paper Arts Challenge - Triple Banner Sketch

This weeks we have a sketch challenge.  Anyone can play along with the Pals and create your own work of art using this beautiful sketch. Just have fun with it!

I chose to use three print from the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack.  Our stacks have been redesigned and are now 6" x 6".  Such a great size.  This stack combines, Basic Black, Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, Old Olive, pacific Point, and Very Vanilla.  The patterns are so pretty- you will love them.  The 48 sheet stack is only $8.  It is a deal.

I used the NEW Triple Layer punch on a 2, 1 1/2 , and 1 inch strips of three paper designs. A sweeet sentiment from A Dozen Thoughts and Pacific Point butterfly are added to complete this pretty card.

Check out the supplies used on my care today.

Hope to hear from you.

Another Sprinkles of Life Card

Here is quick and simple card using the Ronald McDonald House Charities Stamp set of 2015-2016.  It is a fabulous stamp set and on my "favorite things" list.  There are 22 images in this  Photopolymer set, which make it easy to use.  Let  your imagination run wild.
The card base is Bermuda Bay cardstock.  The Doily was adhered to the front.  The a piece of Watermelon Wonder cardstock was added,  I used the NEW Triple Banner punch to make the banners--one from the Cherry on Top DSP paperstack and one in Watermelon Wonder.
The tree was made using the Sprinkles of Life stamp set and coordinating Tree Builder punch.  They were added to a 2 1/2" circle in Whisper White.  Aren't the little flowers just the right touch?
Check out the sentiment from the Sheltering Tree stamp set.  Again I used the Triple Banner Punch to flag the ends of the 1/2" Whisper White strip.  I always save these little 1/2" strips to use for sentiments.  I am such a paper hoarder.  Are you?

I have been on creative roll lately.  Can't wait for more new product which should arrive today. WooHoo!

Keep crafting--it is great therapy during stressful times.  If you don't have a demonstrator and would like a catalog, let me know.

Pals Paper Arts Challenge

This week’s color challenge features these colors.

I have not been participating on a regular basis but it time for me to get back in the game.  Next time you experience a creative “block”, check out the weekly Pals Paper Arts Challenge.  Sometimes they feature a sketch and others are color challenges.  Whatever the challenge, they present a great starting point for any project.  Besides it is fun to see you work recognized online.

For this challenge, I pulled out Sahara Sand, Marina Mist, and Early Expresso cardstock and inks.  Then I went to the box Mr. Brown delivered this week for a brand NEW stamp set, Awesomely Artistic.   The plan for the card was simple and easy.  The floral image was embossed in White on Sahara Sand cardstock.  Other images were stamped, then punched out or fussy cut, before matting and adding to the card base.
Awesomely Artistic includes beautiful images which can be layered, embossed, punched or cut out making your project a work of art. Thanks for visiting.
Here are a couple of variations on the same theme.  Which one is your favorite?

Come back soon.

It's My Birthday!

Another birthday?  Time sure passes quicker and quicker.  In honor of my birthday, I am sharing an envelope I made with the Gift Bag Punch Board.  I few years ago, Stampin' Up discontinued a die which made these tag envelopes.  Now we can use this punch board to make them any size.  I love the versatility of the new tool.

Again I used the Cherry On Top DSP--this is a real keeper. I have already used a whole pack.  The patterns are perfect for birthday cards but can also be used for many other occasions.  The colors are bright and cheerful.- I really like the Watermelon Wonder/Bermuda Bay combo.

The sentiment is from the Fabulous Four stamp set--carried over from last years catalog.  Here is the back of the envelope.  I used a bit of very thin velcro to close it.

I may have to get myself a gift card to fill it. :)
