Today's card uses a different color combination of triangles, which were stamped in Strawberry Slush, Crushed Curry, and Bermuda Bay. They were mounted on a strip of Basic Black. The "You're In My Thoughts" sentiment from A Dozen Thoughts was stamped above the triangles. I love the variety of the fonts and sentiments in the A Dozen Thoughts set.

Today is the BIG Day!
This evening three Stampin' friends and I will attend the Catalog Premiere Event in Kansas City. This is the first time Stampin' Up has used this format to introduce the Annual Catalog. I am sure the evening will be loads of fun and full of surprises, including prizes. I can't wait to see the great new products which will be available soon.
I will be sharing photos later this week. Be sure to check back for exciting details.

Sweetie Pie Photopolymer Stamp Sets
Have you tried Stampin' Up's photopolymer stamps yet? They are the best!
When they were first introduced I was very hesitant. I have bought acrylic stamps from a variety of companies in the past but I was never satisfied with my stamped images. Again Stampin' Up to the rescue. The SU photopolymer stamps are so detailed and clear.
Today's card uses the Sweetie Pie and the coordinating Frames. The photopolymer stamps stick to our acrylic blocks and are easy to place. Quick and simple card ready for sending.
Card Details:
Stamp Set: Sweetie Pie and Sweetie Pie Frames
Paper: Fresh Prints, Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink: Real Red and Black Staz'On

Geometric Bundle
There are so many great things in the Occasions catalog this spring. The Geometric Bundle probably would not have gotten a second look from me but it was one of our "free" sets at Leadership in Houston. We made three super cute tags that introduced the versatility of this set. Typically, I stamp and punch several triangles in a variety of colors. Then I use the triangles to design several different cards. Here is a quick and simple card made using Bermuda Bay and Basic Black triangles. The "just because" sentiment is the perfect way to let someone special know you are thinking of them.
Card Details
Stamp Set: Geometrical and A Dozen Thoughts
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, and Bermuda Bay
Ink: Strawberry Slush, Bermuda Bay, and Black Staz'On
Tools: Triangle Punch, Itty BittyShapes Punch Pack

For My Sweet Ahhbelle
A few weeks ago, Lisa Ann Bernard was the guest stamper on Stampin' Pretty. She made the cutest clock using Stampin' Up products. Check it out here. Seeing her project inspired me to make one for my sweet granddaughter's room. The Sweetie Pie photopolymer stamp set was just perfect for this project. I think they look just like her.
I cut a circle from one of the Wisteria Wonder prints in the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack. I stamped 4 of the sweet faces with Black Staz'On. Punched them with the 1 3/8" circle punch and matted them on a 1 1/2" circle of Wisteria Wonder cardstock. They were positioned at 12, 3, 6, and 9 on the clock face. The small heart punch, which is being retired this month, was used to punch Basic Black hearts for the other numbers on the clock face. Put the clock back together and project finished. The most difficult part of the project is removing and replacing the hands of the clock.
Don't you think the stamped images look just like my sweet girl?

Chick Treats
This sweet little chick was hatched just in time for Easter. The chick coming out the egg was case'd from another Stampin' Up Demonstrator. I cannot remember who right now but will update this post when I find her name. I decided to use her cute idea on my topper. The Label Framelit topper was stamped with the Hardwood Background Stamp. Love it! I found these Reese's Peanut Butter eggs at my local store. Love the colors and the shape. Of course they are delicious too.

April Stamp Club Project
Creating Easter treats has been consuming me lately. There are so many cute ideas on Pinterest, I just can't stop. We always make two projects at Stamp Club, one card and a 3D item. This month we made these darling treats.
The project was inspired by a version made by Connie Stewart with a few touches of my own. Each club member made either a bunny or a chick. Little Debbie snacks were attached to the Top Note topper. I love the quick and easy way these came together.
The following punches were used on the projects. Extra Large, Large, and Small Oval; Triangle; 1 3/8" 3/4", and 1/2" Circle; and 1 3/4", 2 3/8" Scallop Circle.
