The sketch designed by Teresa Kline for Mojo Monday this week is exceptional. I have made several cards this week using it as my inspiration.
I knew I wanted to use the "you make me HAPPY" stamp from the See Ya Later set in the Sale-a-bration brochure. It is such a cute set with great sentiments. There have been several clean and simple cards posted recently which use this stamp with the sun and clouds. Here is my version.
The combination of Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, and Basic Black really pop against the Whisper White background. The Starburst framelits makes a great sun and the Cupcake Builder punch makes the cutest little clouds. I punched the clouds from Smoky Slate and inked the edges to give them some depth. The Decorative Dots folder was used to add texture to the Bermuda Bay piece. I think they look like big rain drops. What do you think?
