Stamp Sets Gone Single

You asked for it and Stampin' Up has listened.

Stampin' Up is trying out something new! We can now purchase single stamps from these select stamp sets: Word Play, Perfectly Penned, and Seasonal Sayings. The offer will be available now through January 2, 2013.

Trick-or-Treat! It's time for some fun and festive crafting with the Stampin' Pretty Pals! You've probably hopped over from Naki Rager, I'm stop number 10 on the Pals Hop and I'm glad you hopped in! My project today showcases the Window Frame framelits and the many ways they can be used.  I have paired two different sizes to make the Raspberry Ripple frame.  Stampin' Up punches and framelits are so versatile.  They can be layered in so many ways.

 

This month's blog hop is all about "tricks" or "treats".  I have chosen to share a "trick".  Post-It Notes are a "must have" stamping supply.  I have several different sizes and have recently added Post-It tape to my collection.

 

 

 

Use Post-It Notes to hold a framelit in place.

 

 

Or use them to mask off a portion of an image before inking.

Paper Pal Arts Challenge



 

 

Are you ready for a perfect fall? This color challenge got me in the mood!  My card is a beautiful combination of More Mustard, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso.  I have been using these colors on several projects lately. 

 

 

I recently began using a brayer to add ink to my texture folders.  It is just another way to add a twist to your cards.  You can place the paper in the inked folder and run it through the Big Shot for color and texture. My card today uses this technique.

Or just add color by placing the paper in the inked folder and press down with your hand to transfer the color to the paper. This method will leave color to match the design of the folder.  Remember the design on each side of the folder is different so you can get two different looks. I like find new ways to use my card making products.

Bootiful Occasions - Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner!  Bootiful Occasions is a fun new set.  Who doesn't love boots?  The Witch's boot is perfect for the special women in your life.  The background on today's card repeats the circle on the boot and texture adds detail.  Easy and fun!

Love and Sympathy

Our second project for card club this month combines sentiments from the Love and Sympathy set with the beautiful fall leaves from French Foliage.  We used several new products and techniques on this card.  The new Woodgrain folder was used on the Early Expresso Core'dinations paper to add texture.  The new piercing tool and template add detail to the Window Pane framelit.
