Six-Sided Sampler

Recently, I noticed a card on LeeAnn Greff's blog using the Six-Sided Sampler bundle.  It was my inspiration for our second project at Stamp Club this month.  I tried out a few versions but finally settled on one using Coastal Cabana (my personal favorite from the new In-Colors).  I stamped 6 different hexagons, trimmed them slightly to fit on a hexagon punched from Coastal Cabana.  These were arranged to form a flower.  A Basic Black 1 3/4" Scallop Circle, a Coastal Cabana 1 1/4" Scallop Circle, and 7/8" Scallop Circle sentiment from A Round Array were layered to form the center of the flower.  I love the way Stampin' Up punches can be stacked in so many ways.

Tip:  When I added "my friend" sentiment to the card front, it was a bit crooked.  So I stamped a second time on the smallest of the Deco Labels and added it under the Basic Black border.  Remember, there are no mistakes in stamping just opportunities.  :)
