Stamp Club Project #1

Saturday was the beginning of our new year for Stamp Club.  We made a card and a cute little notebook.  It was a busy class and took a little longer than usual but was well worth it.  Everyone had the opportunity to try out some great new products from the Annual Catalog.

The Designer Series paper collections were redesigned this year and they are wonderful.  There are 4 different designs, two with light backgrounds and 2 with dark backgrounds.  You may notice the prints coordinate with some of our most popular texture folders- the Chevron, Fancy Fan, and Perfect Polka Dots.  Be sure to check them out in the catalog. For the notebook cover, everyone got to pick out their favorite 2013-2014 In Color:  Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, or Strawberry Slush.  We used Tombow Mono Glue to adhere the DSP to the cover.  Remember a little goes a long way.
A Whisper White and a Coastal Cabana label were cut using the brand NEW Deco Labels Collection.  Baked Brown Sugar was used to ink around the edges of the Coastal Cabana label.  Then 3 different flowers from the Flower Shop Stamp Set were stamped in a coordinating color and cut out using the Pansy Punch.  I love this set!  Everyone decorated the centers in a variety of ways.   I kept mine simple by adding a single Designer Pearl to the center of one flower.
The sentiment from Chalk Talk adds the final touch.
I can't wait to make more of these notebooks.  They will make great little gifts.

  1. Thanks for a great project Sherrie. I love this little book, and thinking of making several more for an event I am involved in.
