Just wanted to share one of our August Stamp Club projects. This cute little notepad was inspired by Becky Roberts at Inking Idaho. She has posted several different versions using the Scalloped Tag Topper punch and 3" X 5" index cards. I designed this version for a 3D swap I participated in at convention.
The index cards are trimmed to 2" x 3" and then punched with the Tag Topper punch. Each notepad contained 40 sheets, which works out to 5 notepads per package of index cards. We used the baby wipe technique to stamp the flower and leaves from Garden in Bloom Photopolymer Stamp set. The flowers are a combination of Crushed Curry, Lost Lagoon, and Blackberry Bliss ink refills. The leaves are a combination of Mossy Meadow, Garden Green and Crushed Curry ink refills. I used an empty stamp case to hold the baby wipes. The Just a Note comes from the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit.
Wouldn't these make a great little gift for co-workers and teachers?
Next I plan to use the baby wipe technique to stamp fall leaves using the Vintage Leaves Stamp Set. Check out the stamp set on page 88 of the Annual Catalog.
This is adorable! Thanks for such clear directions. I will definitely be casing this. The baby wipe technique is stunning on the flower!
ReplyDeleteSo very cute!
ReplyDeleteVery cute!!
ReplyDeleteIs there anymore instructions on how to do this item? What is the baby wipe technique?
ReplyDeleteI would like to make some of these, but I'm not sure how.
Please let me know if you have any step by step instructions.
Thank you.
