Sassy Stampers Swap

The Sassy Stampers is a group of friends who get together once a month to share ideas.  In November, we had a swap.  I want to share a few of the great projects.  They are such a talented group of women.

Mojo Monday Sketch

The Mojo Monday sketch this week is just wonderful.  It was my inspiration for the card on the Pals Blog Hop.  Today, I want to share another card using the same sketch. Sketches are a great tool to use when you just cannot come up with any ideas. Be sure to give them a try.
I used a new stamp set and punch from the Spring Catalog.  They will be available to order beginning on January 3, 2013. The sentiment is from the Feel Goods set.  The 7/8" punch is used behind the butterfly.

Card Recipe
Stamp Sets:  Feel Goods, Papillon Potpourri
Paper:  Festival of Prints, Whisper White, Pool Party, Early Expresso
Ink:  Early Expresso
Accessories:  Fancy Fan Texture Folder, 2 3/8" Scallop Punch, 7/8" Scallop Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch, Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

If you do not have a demonstrator and would like a copy of the Spring Catalog, just let me know.

Thanks for visiting!

December Pals Blog Hop

We're so glad you could join us for the final Pals Blog Hop of 2012! Today the Stampin' Pretty Pals are excited to celebrate all of our favorite occasions of the year! And what's a little celebration without some sparkle?!

You've probably hopped over from Maggie Mata at Maggie Made Cards, I'm stop number 21 on the Pals Hop and I'm glad you hopped in! I'll help you "hop along" from blog to blog where you'll find great ideas for Stampin' Up! products from the Stampin' Pretty Pals! Should you hop off course, simply click on any of the links in the Pals Hop Line-up below and you'll be back on track.

Christmas is my favorite holiday.  I love shopping for the perfect gifts, singing along to Christmas carols on the radio, and spending time with my family. My card for the Pals Blog Hop is done in non-traditional colors with a little sparkle.

I hope you can see some of the sparkle on the card.  Silver Glimmer paper was used with the Snowflake Bigs Die.  The Christmas sentiment was stamped with Island Indigo and then Dazzling Diamonds were added for little sparkle.  A row of rhinestones was place below the sentiment.  Can you ever have too much bling?  I don't think so.

Card Recipe

Stamp Sets:  Seasonal Sayings
Paper:  Festival of Prints, Island Indigo, Bashful Blue, Silver Glimmer, and  Whisper White
Ink:  Island Indigo
Accessories:  Snowflake Bigs Die, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Scallop Edge Border Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle, Dazzling Diamonds, Rhinestones, Designer Printed Brads, and Bashful Blue Grosgrain ribbon(retired).

Christmas Ornament

Hello!  I have been neglecting my blog the past two weeks.  There has been a lot going on in my life but I have promised myself to do better.  I can't believe Christmas is only two weeks away.  I have so much to do--my anxiety is increasing so it is time for me to get busy.  Unfortunately, I may have less time for stamping.
Today, I want to share an ornament which my co-workers and I made for a Christmas tree in the Kansas State Capitol.  Everyone made suggestions and several volunteered to help out.  It was a fun project and looks great hanging on the Christmas tree.

Many of the ornaments on the tree were made by Kansas children.
