Polka Dot Fever

Recently, I was stuck on dots made with a stamp from the Geometrical Stamp Set.  I just love the color combination of Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey, and Blackberry Bliss.  The Designer Series paper is from the Moonlight Paper Stack.  It is an amazing set of papers.  I just can't get enough of the new In Colors.  They are the best.  One of the best buys in the Annual Catalog is the In Color Cardstock and Pad Kit for $29.95. If you have not ordered yours, go directly to my online store now.  You won't be sorry.

In With the New!

Welcome to the June Pals Blog Hop. This month we are excited to show off new Stampin' Up! products from the just released 2014-15 annual catalog and idea book. We hope you find great inspiration from the projects. Get your wish list ready!
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Kerry Willard Bray at Peonies and Paper Chains/#10 on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

I am #11 on the Pals Blog Hop for a particular reason.  Today, I am celebrating a really "BIG" Birthday. I can't believe how quickly the years have passed. But as a 10 year cancer survivor, I am thankful to be able to celebrate each and every year. So here's to another exciting year of life. As you can imagine, I know have many "fabulous" friends turning "60" this year.  So I am trying to add a few birthday cards to my collection.

My card today uses the Million and One Stamp Set, Blackberry Bliss, with touches of Gold, such a rich combination.    The sunburst image from Kinda Eclectic was stamped in Blackberry Bliss on Whisper White card stock. The top layer is the "Fabulous" sentiment stamped in Black Staz'On on the Gold Foil Vellum.  It was heat embossed with Clear embossing powder. The ampersand and "60" were cut from our Gold Foil sheets.

The next stop is Nicole Watt at Pixel Maven's Retreat/#12 on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting and  I hope to see you next month.

Something to Say

The Moonlight Paper Stack has quickly become my "go to" with the release of the 2014-2015 Annual Catalog.  All of the prints are wonderful.  Today I am sharing a card which is based on a past sketch from Pals Paper Arts.
As a demonstrator, I was able to order the Something to Say Stamp set in May.  WOOHOO!  I just love this set.

Card Club Project #1 Bloom with Hope

Today I want to share the cards we made at card club this month.  These cards were case's from Leeann Greff.  Everyone had the opportunity to choose two of the NEW 2014-2016 In Colors. There were several color combinations used in the group.

Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss

Hello Honey and Lost Lagoon

Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey

Tangelo Twist and Mellow Moss

Post-It Notes were used to mask off 1 1/2" area.  Then I used sponge daubers to apply ink in a circular motion to the Whisper White.  The images and sentiments from Bloom with Hope were stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black ink.  We also used Blendabilities to color Designer Rhinestones.  Can't wait for their release for all customers!  This design will be perfect if you want to make card sets for gifts. Give it a try.
