Card Club Project

Christmas is just around the corner. Today I am featuring one of this month's card club projects.  As my children get older, it becomes more difficult to shop for the holidays.  I find myself purchasing gifts cards more often.  Stampin' Up products can be used to make quick and easy gift card olders.

I used the large tag from the Two Tags Die.  The pocket uses a 3 5/8" X 8 1/2" piece of card stock which was scored at 4 1/4".  Use sticky strip to seal the two long sides.  I used a 1 3/8" circle punch to punch out the tab at the top of the pocket.  The entire pocket was run through the Big Shot in the Houndstooth Texture folder.  A strip of Be of Good Cheer Designer Paper and a Snowflake decorate the front.  Check out the shine on the pocket! I hope you can see it.  I added a few drops of Champagne Shimmer paint to rubbing alcohol in one of our new misters.  Spritz a little on the front and the back. It is an easy way to add shine to any paper project.

Remember you can use Glue Dots to adhere your gift card to the tag inside the pocket!
